Dr. Mayur Goklani did his MBBS and internship from MGM Medical College Aurangabad. He was the final year MBBS topper of his batch. He went on to do post-graduate training in General surgery from Dhoot hospital Aurangabad. After a short stint as surgery registrar in Hedgewar Hospital, he got selected for Plastic surgery at the prestigious Bombay hospital institute of medical sciences Mumbai.

He is a board certified Plastic surgeon, with a keen interest in Hand Surgery, Burns management, cancer reconstruction, cosmetic surgery amongst others.

While at Bombay hospital he was lucky to be trained under the stalwarts of Plastic surgery in the country. Dr. Mukund Thatte, dr. Ashok Gupta, Dr. Baliarsing, Dr. Nitin Mokal, Dr. Vinay Jacob all doyens in their respective fields.

Further, he went on to do a trauma fellowship, national visiting traveler Fellowship of APSI at Amandeep Hospital, Amritsar under Dr. Ravi Mahajan, where he gained insights into the management of trauma reconstruction and cleft surgery.

He had the opportunity of doing an international fellowship in hand brachial plexus and peripheral nerve surgery under Dr. Jayme Bertelli, at Florianopolis Unisul, Brazil.

Here he gained in-depth knowledge about the intricacies of hand surgery which included cadaveric dissections, all varieties of hand surgeries from basic to the most advanced and to top it with three international publications in reputed journals with works on the axillary nerve, Radial nerve and its branches relations and median nerve.
